The laboratory dielectric moisture meter FIZEPR-SW100.30 has a high sensitivity and accuracy of measurements, provides measurement not only of moisture but also of the complex permittivity. It can be used both for liquids and fine-grained bulk materials control.
The laboratory moisture analyzer has the light weight and small size sensor. Due to sensor diameter (Ø46 mm) it can be used for monitoring of liquids in standard measuring cylinders that are widely used in chemical laboratories.
The moisture analyzer sensor is leaktight and equipped with an adapter coupling for mounting on the rod, which makes it possible to control the parameters of liquids directly in tanks and to determine these parameters depending on the level of sensor immersion.
Moisture meter supply package includes not only a sensor and an electronic unit, but also a set of clusters, a measuring cylinder, and a laptop (netbook). Installed software allows analysis and mathematical treatment of measurement results and material investigation in the radio-frequency band.
An analysis of the material dielectric properties is provided by refractive index (deceleration factor) measurements of an electromagnetic wave in a controlled environment in the meter and decimeter wavelength ranges. During measuring, the ratio of sensor’s air probe resonance frequency to its resonance frequency in the sample material is determined.
This principle ensures the independence of measurement results from the length of the sensor probe and its structural features. But more importantly, there is no need in moisture control device calibration. This causes permittivity measurement accuracy of up to 4 significant digits.
The laboratory moisture analyzer is available in the following modifications:
Laboratory measurements of predominantly liquid materials, as well as measurements at different depths in reservoirs
The sensors are made in the form of a probe that can be inserted into a 500 ml graduated cylinder. Option 30.11 can be mounted on a stem and allows measurement in tanks
Laboratory measurements of predominantly bulk materials
Sensor options 30.2 and 30.26 are made in the form of a cuvette with a volume of 2 liters, the sensor of option 30.261 is made in the form of a cuvette with a volume of 700 ml
Laboratory measurements of liquid materials
Sensor includes a probe 17mm diameter and 190mm length for P1-21-200 or P2-21-200 test tubes. Volume of sample controlled – 15ml.
